Michael Calabreezy is a character perhaps many can identify themselves with at one time or another, while on vacation or simply day dreaming. He lives near the beach in a beautiful location where it’s warm and sunny all year around waking up to palm trees swaying, birds singing and a gentle breeze.
He’s financially independent, lives in a nice beautiful house, but still owns a couple of businesses ... and gives the occasional afternoon surf lesson.
He prefers the slow paced lifestyle instead of the frantic rat race that many are in. He is laid back, helpful to others and enjoys many outdoor activities. Although he tends to the needs of his businesses in the morning you will almost always find him at the beach in the afternoon enjoying life, his friends, family and the warm weather.
His beach life is even more complete with his two sidekicks: Duke the Dog and Tiki the Parrot. Duke is a fun-loving energetic dog who enjoys long walks, belly rubs, and playing tug-of-war. Everyone Duke meets is an instant friend. Tiki is the comedian, telling jokes to anyone who will listen and rides along on Michael Calabreezy’s shoulder when the surfing is good.
When friends ask Michael Calabreezy why he doesn’t prefer having many big toys around him, he always says, “A pair of sandals, some good shorts, and a nice hat is about all you need.”
The locals liked his easy-going perspective so much, they captured his persona into a caricature and the Michael Calabreezy brand was born.
